The new A550 is a further development of the A540 based on the new emission values for the exhaust gases of the diesel engines. The Yanmar 37hp Stage V diesel engine together with a larger infeed aperture and a more aggressive upper feed roller characterizes this latest generation of chippers.
The strength and power of the Jensen A550 enables any arborist to chip up to 200mm timber with ease.
In addition to the safety bar, electronic safety sensors are fitted as standard enabling the machine to be turned off with a quick tap of the hand, ensuring increased safety at all times for operators.
